Garden Tomatoes

What an abundant garden I had this year. Just amazing! I had a bumper crop of all my tomatoes. Here is the list of the heirlooms I started all from seed: Italian, Yugoslavian, Amish Paste, Black Krim, Black Tula, Gold Medal Winner and Nebraska Wedding. I also grew a red cherry, yellow cherry, Lemon Boy, Big Boy, and a Beefsteak.

Here are some of my tomatoes being hardened off.

And this is how tall they get.
My heirlooms grow 5- 6 ft tall.
I plant one morning glory with each one just to be pretty.

I canned juice, froze sauces and salsas, and tried sun dried tomatoes this year for the first time. Sun dried tomatoes is something I want to do again. They are delicious. My hubby built me some new tomato cages this year that I really liked using. They worked much better than anything I have had in the past.

Littleton Twilight Criterium Bike Race

I feel so blessed to live in Littleton, Colorado! Just look at that view down Main Street with the shadow of the mountains in the background. These photos were taken on August 9, 2014. It was a lovely summer afternoon and evening for the bike races. The Criterium served as the Colorado State Championships for USA Cycling. More than 500 racers participated. They reached speeds of up to 40 mph. This event was held during Western Welcome Week. I took bunches of photos - enjoy a few of my best.

Summer Flowers

Here a few of my summer flowers from the 2014 season. Those were volunteer sunflowers and I planted the cosmos. They turned out to be a pretty combination and grew quite tall.

Another new acquaintance - Co-Co Nichole Bush, founder of REVISED Handmade Jewelry and author of Vintage Revised Jewelry. Such a lovely young woman with so much talent.

Sweet doll and chair!

June at the Paris Street Market

Following are a few of my favorite scenes from the June Paris Street Market in Littleton, Colorado.

It is early morning at the market and the walkways are still relatively open. My favorite time to shop.

Such a unique vase these bed springs and test tubes make!

Isn't she so precious!!! You can't see it, but she has a pretty pink collar. She is seeing the Paris Market in style in her "Load Master Wagon".

Just loved this ladder shelf idea!

Notice the girl's expression. Then take a look at the sign on the table.
This was just a fluke of photography and  I did not even notice it until I went to edit this picture.  How funny is that!
